Dashboards

A Home dashboard that builds itself from your connectors, pipelines, workflows and AI chats. Live KPIs, failures surfaced first, and one-click shortcuts, shaped to each person's role, with nothing to configure.

The first screen should answer “is everything running?”

Most data stacks make you open three tools to find out whether last night's sync worked. In InfiniStack that answer is the page you land on after signing in.

Home is assembled from what is already on the platform—your connected sources, pipeline runs, workflow runs and AI chat sessions. There are no widgets to build and no queries to write. Connect a source and the picture fills in as data starts moving.

Key metrics

Four numbers, one plain-language summary

At the top of Home an operational summary says in a sentence what needs attention: how many runs failed recently and which pipelines they belong to, how many runs are in progress, or that the workspace looks healthy. Where there is something to do, a button takes you straight there.

Below it, four KPI cards give the headline numbers. The summary is computed from your run and connector status, not written by a model, so it says the same thing every time the data says the same thing.

Connected sources

How many sources are linked. Once any connector needs attention, the card splits into Healthy and Needs attention so a problem is visible without opening anything.

Active pipelines

Pipelines that are switched on, with when the last one succeeded and how many were added this month.

Workflow runs today

Runs so far today in your organization's time zone, split into scheduled and on-demand, compared with yesterday.

AI chat sessions this week

How much your team is asking its data questions, and how many teammates were active in the past seven days.

Cards with work in flight are marked live, and Home refreshes itself while a pipeline or workflow run is in progress. When nothing is running it stays still until you reload it.

Activity

A failure should never be missable

Two panels sit under the KPIs, showing the four most relevant pipeline runs and the four most relevant workflows. Each row is a link, so the way from “something is red” to the run itself is one click.

Pipelines

Recent pipeline runs

Source-to-destination syncs, ordered so failures come first, then anything still running, then successes.

  • Each row shows the pipeline, its source → destination, how long ago it ran, and a status badge that pulses while it is running.
  • A banner counts the runs that failed recently and links to the full pipeline run logs.
  • Because the order is by severity, the most recent run carries a Latest tag so nobody mistakes the top row for the newest.
  • Hover a time for the exact timestamp in your own time zone.
Workflows

Workflow Studio activity

The workflows people have recently run or edited, so you can see what the team is working on as well as what is scheduled.

  • Each row shows the workflow name, who last edited it and when, and the status of its latest run.
  • Workflows that have not run yet say Never run, and switched-off ones say Inactive, instead of looking like a problem.
  • A row opens that workflow's latest run, or its run history if it has never completed.
  • A View all link goes to the complete list in Workflow Studio.

Role-aware

The people who build it and the people who use it get different Homes

The operator's view is not what an analyst or a business user needs to see first. Home shows each person what they can actually act on, and hides what they cannot.

Admins & integrators

The operations view

For the people who run the data platform.

  • The operational summary and the four KPI cards.
  • Recent pipeline runs and Workflow Studio activity.
  • Recent AI chat activity.
  • The full set of quick actions for building.
Members & team leads

The consumer view

For the people who use the data rather than run it, with none of the infrastructure noise.

  • Pinned reports: open a report, choose Pin to Home, and it is one click away every time you sign in.
  • Recent AI chat activity: your latest conversations, ready to reopen where you left off.
  • Ask AI a question: query your data in plain English.

Recent AI chat activity

Your three most recent conversations, with the question you asked and how long ago. Open one and carry on, or follow View all for the full list.

Getting started

An empty workspace tells you what to do next

A brand-new organization does not get a wall of zeroes. Home changes with how far along the workspace is.

  1. 1. While the workspace is being set up

A provisioning banner follows your environment as it is prepared. Metrics appear once it is ready.

  2. 2. Once it is ready but empty

A welcome panel lays out four steps: connect a source, configure tables, build your first pipeline, ask AI a question. The greeting reads “Welcome” and offers to get your organization set up, rather than “Welcome back.”

  3. 3. As soon as something exists

The KPIs, summary and activity panels take over, and empty panels point to the action that fills them, such as Build a pipeline or Build a workflow.

Quick actions

A grid of shortcuts for jumping straight into building. Each person sees only the ones their role can use.

Connect a data source Define a data model Build a pipeline Build a workflow Ask AI a question Create a report Invite a user

Everyone gets Ask AI a question. Building actions are for admins and integrators, and inviting people is for organization admins.

Common questions

Do I have to build the dashboard?

No. Home is generated from the connectors, pipelines, workflows and chats already in your organization. There is nothing to drag, configure or query.

How fresh is the data on it?

It loads when you open the page, and a Refresh button reloads everything on demand. While a pipeline or workflow run is in progress, Home polls for updates by itself so you can watch it finish.

Why does a failed run still appear after the pipeline succeeded?

On purpose. The pipeline panel ranks by severity, not recency, so a failure is never pushed off the screen by a later success. The newest run is tagged Latest, each row shows its own status and time, and the full chronological history is one click away in the pipeline run logs.

Is the operational summary written by AI?

No. It is assembled from rules over your run and connector status, so it is consistent and it works even when AI features are switched off for your organization.

Can I rearrange Home or add my own charts?

Home is a fixed operational view rather than a canvas, so its layout does not change. What you can personalize is the set of reports pinned to it. For charts and analysis of your own data, use reports and Chat with AI.

Who can see the pipeline and workflow numbers?

Organization admins and integrators see the operations view. Members and team leads see a simpler Home with pinned reports, their chats and the Ask AI shortcut, and none of the infrastructure panels.
